Default Kentucky Bordello Murders

Anybody know if those murders in the Kentucky massage parolor were solved or any updates? I know that a cop from the town was a suspect and retained a lawyer, but was not charged. Said he took a polygraph but they wouldnt discuss the results.

I doubt this will ever be truly solved. the cop obviously failed the polygraph and I do think he was involved. The reason I believe this will never be solved is because they are just a couple of dead prostitutes as stated by the owner of the brothel (they can call it a massage parlor all they want but it was a brothel). Unfortunately many in law enforcement feel this way about this case.

I feel it's really a shame. I don't agree with the choice of profession of each pf the ladies, but they are still human beings and I think more should have been done in this case.

No one has been arrested. In early 2007 the case was taken back over by the KY State Police. Is Oak Grove Corrupt? Yes I believe so. I am the former Detective Sgt from there, and recently left my post due to sexual harrassment and hostile work environment. For some reason, the same people from around the time of the murders, do not like women in the police dept. The same chief that has admitted he accepted bribes is still in office. So what does that mean. It means that Oak Grove doesnt mind its corrupt and continues to foster and flourish its corrupt means. Until there is a big change in the police department, the murders will never be solved and Oak Grove will never improve as long as it utilizes the "good ole boy" system. I truely regret giving Oak Grove three years of employment.

Wow. Sounds like a wonderful place to work. Hard to believe they haven't "solved" the Bordello murders.

It's frustrating to watch this segment. You watch Texas lawyers, like the darlie routier case, put people away with circumstacial evidence. Then you have cases like this where it is blatently obvious that the police department was involved in an unethical business and one of their officers was likely in some way involved in a couple of murders. Even his own wife at the time claimed he had a weapon that matched the murder weapon. she also claimed he was out that night. The officer stepped down and ran away from oak grove despite his attorney opening his interview on the segment by saying Ed Carter never ran away? at least do some more investigating on Ed Carter. but of course the police department has too much to lose if they do there real job. must be nice to be the good guys and the bad guys all in one.

Ditto DallasTexan (I am too, by the way!), it's makes me so angry to see some people put away on circumstantial evidence, and others not, especially when there is more convincing "circumstantial" evidence than other cases.
Ridiculous. Our justice system is f'd up.

Yeah, just moved to Dallas a year ago from a little Podunk town in Illinois.

It's a big change, but it's a cool city
