Question Kate As A Mom

On one of the flash forward episodes we see Kate as a mom to Aaron. Did this surprise anyone else? When I first saw the blonde hair, for a minute I thought maybe it was her & Sawyers child. Wonder why she ends up with Aaron? Any thoughts on the episode?

I'm guessing that Claire died. I can't imagine any other reason for her to give up baby Aaron. She was crazy over her baby. Then again, with this show, you just never know. Up is down, white is black with this show, lol.

So true, you never know what to expect with Lost. In the episode Aaron looked a few years old too, leaving you to wonder just how much time had passed.

I'm thinking something happened on that island and Jack must blame himself because he doesn't want to see Aaron.

I must have missed the part of the baby being Aaron. I just asssumed it was either Jacks or Sawyers child. With the blondish hair I felt it was Sawyers. Hmm.

^Yeah, Kate calls him Aaron right at the end of the show and he calls her mommy. But who knows, she may have had a baby & named him Aaron too. This show is so confusing. (lol!)

I saw the enhanced version which I liked. Its nice to see both versions. Anyway I didn't get the name the first time, but the second time I could either hear Eric, Aaron. A mumbled name but with the blond hair it could indeed be Claires baby. A scene of Claire asking Kate to tend to the baby may be a thought to the future. Kate somehow is mother material possibly due do Claires death. Although Kate's mother seemed to want to see the baby which made me think blood of Kate is there somewhere.

Kate probably told everybody that the baby was hers when she got off the island. Something happened back there that I don't think any of the survivors want anybody to know about.

I agree with last post. The baby was Clairs and I think Kate was hiding stuff about the island. great show but man, all these twists and turns!
