First timer with a question - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hello from Milwaukee ... I just watched the final episode of Happy Days, which I don't remember seeing for many years. I was surprised (and pleased) that Ron Howard returned to close it out. However, I was wondering why Potsie and Ralph weren't at the wedding? Potsie was on the show throughout the run and I was miffed by his absence. In one of the later episodes when Richie and Ralph returned from the Army, Ralph said that he would be going to school in Madison. Surely Ralph could have returned for Joanie and Chachi's big day. Personally, for as nice as the Cunninghams were to those two goofs over the years, it was a slap in the face for them to be no-shows at their only daughter's shotgun wedding.

That's definitely one of the big mysteries of this series. Anson Williams was still a credited member of the cast (even though he only appeared in five episodes of the last season), so I really don't get why he wasn't there.
