Scientology- --uses child labor…children under the age of 18, work 17 hour days and paid $50.00 a week plus room and board (if they live on campus). The adults are paid a little more if they are not working to pay for their “studies”! The children are separated from their parents at a very young age ( if the parents are in Scientology also) There are some children that are kept in the cult even after their parents have left. The children are not allowed to go to school, their studies consist of Scientology materials.

Scientology---requires all their members to “disconnect” (have no contact ever!) from their families if the family doesn’t agree with their choice of study. What other religion do you know that requires this step?

I will say this in the celebrity’s defense. They are kept in the dark and really truly are kept away from the dark side of Scientology and their crimes. They are treated different than if you or I were to join.

Scientology recruit celebrities because it helps give this cult creditability in the public and media eyes, by the time some of them learn the truth, they are either too far gone or so deep in by revealing their most inner secrets they are blackmailed by the cult to keep quite by the threat of releasing sensitive material on the celebrity. (ask Nicole Kidman) Now, what religion do you know that would threaten you this way? Also you notice how the celebrities shy away from going into much detail about Scientology? It is because they are allowed only to release the surface material but not the deeper facts, like the beliefs in mind control, aliens births ect.. A lot of Scientology celebrities have body guards who are Scientology members and are paid by the cult Scientology. Try and mention the word Scientology to a celebrity member and see if you don't get a big push into the background or manhandled in some way.
