The A-Team star Mr. T has vowed to never shave off his trademark mohawk - because he believes his exotic hairstyle has been the key to his Hollywood success. The tough guy - real name Laurence Tureaud - insists his haircut was the main reason he shot to fame as B.A. Baracus in the 1980s TV series. He says, "I got the mohawk back in 1979 when I first became famous. A lot of producers said, 'Mr. T, you'll get a lot more acting jobs if you shave it off.' But I turned around and said, 'If I changed my hair, I wouldn't be who I am.' "You see Frank Sinatra sang my song My Way. I'm not wishy washy. I ain't changing with no styles." http://uk.news.yahoo.com/wenn/200802...c60bd6d_1.html |

The mohawk is his #1 trademark without a doubt. He should keep it.
A few years ago he guessed starred on a sitcom and he was bald (that might have been around the time he was battling cancer) and he looked perfectly fine. |
