Sure, this is the case of Heidi Wyrick. She was a young girl who made the claim she could communicate with spirits from the dead, one in particular named Gordon. There is actually an old thread on this case:

Yeah, it's Heidi Wyrick and the ghost of Con Gordie. If you want, do a search of this forum. There are lots of threads about her story. Many people here don't believe her and think she was making it up. I guess I could go either way on this one.
One of the threads has info about a book about her. Sorry I'm too lazy right now to look up the title for you but it's somewhere on the forum.

Thanks guys, I'll check it out!
I also remember seeing an episode where a family's house was haunted. Thing would happen, like the radio volume would go up and down on its own and stuff like that, anyone know what I'm talking about? |

Hey Lulu, if you check the Discovery Channel, they air a two hour documentary on this particular "case." As a matter of fact, the Discovery Channel is airing it right now as I type this. It is called A HAUNTING IN GEORGIA. Enjoy.
