How long will Welcome to the Captain last? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I've been hearing about it only lasting 6 episodes.

Is that true?

I have really enjoyed the first 2 episodes and in my opinion, it was the best sitcom this year (Aliens in America, Big Bang Theory, Back to You all coming after).

I hate how they kill amazing shows and try to hype up shows that are total garbage.

I remember about 4 years ago, Married to the Kellys was decent and got 22 eps
and a mideseason filler, The Big House, was really funny and good yet they didn't get it past 6 episodes. That really bothers me.

Anyone have news about this show?

Currently the show is "on the bubble" and may or may not return for more episodes.

I hope it stays on. The show is killer...LOVING IT!!!! One of the best new shows on air.
