Default TV shows or movies that referenced tv shows or characters

How many times do we watch a show and another tv show or a tv show character is being referenced? Same thing with movies, we hear tv shows being mentioned or tv show characters being mentioned. Let's see how many you can post here:

THE JEFFERSONS: Tom takes George to court over a chocolate stain on his suit...it is set up to be like PEOPLE'S COURT, with the music, the intro, etc.

George has a bad dream abt being on Wheel of Forever (WHEEL OF FORTUNE).

George has a dream where he is this big oil tycoon wearing a cowboy hat and he cheats on his wife...for those who don't know, they are referencing DALLAS and George is playing J.R. Ewing, of course he has a different name, but DALLAS is being spoofed.

George tries to help Tom get back some money he lost. Greg Morris, one of the actors from the original MISSION IMPOSSIBLE makes an appearance. He helps George and Tom retrieve the money. We hear music that is supposed to be similar to the Mission Impossible theme.

Mr. Bently, the neighbor, referenced at least once the tv show THE WALTONS.

GOOD TIMES: They referenced the Waltons many times on that show.

SCRUBS: the two characters J.D. and Turk often profess their love for SANFORD & SON. Even going as far as 'singing' the opening credits theme song. The show is often heard in the background while Turk and J.D. watch television in their apartment.

WILL & GRACE: When Jack and Will enter Will's apartment on a particular episode, Will makes a joke saying that the presence of Fred Sanford (SANFORD & SON) is hovering above them. They then burst into song, singing the theme, until Will ends it by screaming, "Shut up, dummy!"

The Simpsons too.

My favorite is the episode "I Am Furious (Yellow)" where Bart starts that online comic Angry Dad. For some reason, Stan Lee (creator of The Incredible Hulk) is visiting the Comic Book Guy's store, and he's the inspiration for Bart starting the comic. Bart's comic is all about Homer getting mad, so Bart does things to purposely piss off Homer. Well, at the end of a chain-reaction of many anger-inducing happenings, Homer falls in a kiddie pool of green paint. He then freaks out, his shirt rips, and he starts running around growling and muttering "Homer Mad! Homer Smash!" (like the cartoon Hulk). Lenny sees him and yells, "Look! It's the Incredible Hulk!" Naturally, they are in front of Comic Book Guy's store, and Stan Lee comes out and says, "He can't be the Hulk. I'm the Hulk. Rawwwrrrrr." He tries to morph and rip his shirt. Comic Book Guy rolls his eyes and tells Stan, "Oh, please. You couldn't even change into Bill Bixby."

Thus referencing the Live Action series and the Cartoon.

On Alice, Mel referenced "Welcome Back, Kotter. Flo, had walked in, and he told her sarcastically, "Well, Welcome Back, Kotter!" he also referenced Charlie's Angels many times. He fired his waitresses, they came back, he mentioned that he was Charlie, and he got his Angels back.

On Good Times, on the Vita Brite episode, Thelma was explaining to Florida that what you see in the commercials and on TV is a lie. She mentioned that Redd Foxx doesn't really own a junkyard. She didn't mention Sanford and Son by name, but we all knew what she was referring to.

On Family Matters, Little Richie's friend saw carl and said, "You win, he DOES look like the father on Fresh Prince." And at the end of the episode, James Avery walked on to there set and embraced Reginal Vel-Johnson.

FAIRLY ODDPARENTS: On this Nickelodeon cartoon show, Cosmo and Wanda are inside the television spoofing various shows, they also spoof I Love Lucy.

DRAKE & JOSH: another Nickelodeon show (my son loves this channel ) the two boys spoof the famous candy scene from I Love Lucy.

KING OF QUEENS: Doug, after thinking his best friend (who happens to be black) has left him for a black best friend, starts dreaming of his best friend as a gospel singer in a church choir where they begin singing the theme song to the Jeffersons.

There were several references to the Jeffersons on this show, but that one sticks out in my mind.

They also spoofed THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE HONEYMOONERS.

On an episode of George Lopez George told Ernie it is not over until the fat lady sings and then says Roseanne Barr has not sung yet.

On Happy Days Fonzies nephew Spike was upstairs in the Cunningham's house watching Kookla, Ollie, and Fran.

On Fresh Prince, Will mentioned Roseanne Barr to Carlton once when he was talking about fat ladies.

Roseanne Barr did an episode about Gilligan's Island.

Roseanne Barr show was known to do references to alot of tv show and famous people.

On Suite life, Ashley Tinsdale(spelling) did a reference to herself when the school was going to the musical High school musical, where she says people say I look like Ashley Tinsdale, and everyone says I don't see it. That was when she thought she should have gooten the lead part over London.

On Charles in Charge Donny Most does a refernece to Happy Days. He was waiting in line tro buy lotto tickets and when he buys one he looks at Charles and says Happy Days are here again.

In Every single episode of Seinfeld there is at least one referance to Superman in one way or another. True story as from the mouth of Jerry Seinfeld in an interview.

On Home improvement, Brad has a Halloween party when Tim and Jill go out to a Halloween party, someone asked who is that guy over there waving and Brad said someone who could get me into alot of trouble.
He goes over and talks to Mr. Wilson and then after Wilson done talking he replies in the famous words of another great American, Mr. Roger's won't you be my neighbor?

Roseanne had DJ dress up like Alfalfa from the Little Rascals once for Halloween.

On Home Improvement all 3 boys dressed up as Moe from the 3 stooges for Halloween one year.

Mamma once said she wished her kids would have been like the Cosby kids.
