I always thought the opening credits of this show were great.

I liked seeing all the exterior shots of San Fransisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. The theme music was great too and I always laugh everytime I see Henry falling off the sofa at the end of the credits.

Count me in!! I always like the first version of the theme song with the heavier bass.

I just saw them for the first time and I agree. I love it when shows have exterior shots in the opening credits.

The theme music to this show is probably the greatest ever of ANY sitcom and definitely the greatest instrumental ever. As far as ALL TV shows goes it's right up there with Charlie's Angels and Dallas.

We need to seasons 3 and onward on DVD!

and the pictures they use of Lydia Cornell were great.

I have the theme song on my iPod!! I loved the opening visuals, too. Gotta love that big red house they lived in.

i sure cant i know that ted knight was a funny guy but im willing that at least 8 out of 10 guys here watched the show for lydia and/or debra i know i did

They were both smokin'.

I liked the theme music as well. The exterior shots of San Fransisco and the Rush house with all of the clips were great to watch.

Lydia still looks pretty good for her age but DAMN Debbie has really aged and looks like grandma Rush now!

Not THE Grandma Rush (Audrey Meadows) but she looks like a grandma!

I watched it mainly for Nancy Dussault. She is a great comedienne but was underutilized on the show. I understand her and Ted did not get along too well on the show. The episodes that featured Nancy's singing was great. She got a powerful voice.

^ Nancy also did a great guest turn as a sassy hooker Wojo falls for in the first season Barney Miller episode, "The Courtesans".

Whatever gave you that idea??

I saw an interview with Nancy after Ted's death and she was practically in tears and spoke of him with great admiration.

She wouldn't likely do that if she didn't get along with him.

Yea I remember hearing her say nice things about him. I've heard that he could be difficult to work with though,. The cast of MTM has said this, The guy was still a comedic genius though.
