Something I have always wondered
Do murderers have nightmares/bad visions and such of their previous acts? Dont think one could kill someone and not have that image in your brain for eternity |

Some of them even think they are doing something good, I doubt it even registers as "bad" to them. JMO.... |

Interesting question. I think some could be. I think it they are true sociopaths the fact that they killed someone probably doesn't bother them.

I volunteer at a prison and have met murderers there. I know that some of them are haunted by their crimes, but I definitely get the feeling that's not true for everyone. I know several guys who have been in prison since they were teenagers because they were involved in gang shootings. It's like they're only now realizing the full gravity of their crimes years later. There is one man who has been in prison since before I was born, and he's afraid to be released because he doesn't know if he can control his temper. There is a prisoner who told me that he was a sniper in Vietnam and killed dozens of people in the most matter-of-fact tone you could imagine. He was in prison for murder, but I honestly couldn't tell whether he was making up the sniper thing or if he'd just read Heart of Darkness one too many times. I think everyone in different.
