'Smallville' To Spin Off The Green Arrow? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Justin Hartley, most recently known for his role as Oliver Queen -- aka the Green Arrow -- on the CW's "Smallville," has inked a talent holding deal with the network.

Hartley's association with the CW extends beyond "Smallville," which he was tapped to join in 2006 starting with the show's sixth season. He also played the title role in the network's Aquaman pilot, which had been in contention for fall 2006, and more recently was in the CW pilot "Spellbound" as well as the network's "Eight Days a Week."

His credits include the upcoming Warner Bros. feature film "Spring Breakdown" opposite Amy Poehler, Will Arnett, Parker Posey and Rachel Dratch.

If they do a spinoff, I hope GA's costume is more faithful to the comic book
character (in other words, lose the hood and replace it with a mask). I hate
when they make drastic changes in a superhero's appearance. "If it ain't
broke, don't fix it." Otherwise, Hartley has given a good performance as
Oliver Queen (although he could use a moustache and goatee to look more
the part).

I agree. The hooded Green Arrow costume is horrible.

The Green Arrow is awesome!Especially since he slept with Lois

.But if they do a spin-off of The Green Arrow,I hope the rest of the Justice League is with him
