Default The hot tub

I always found it funny how they worked using the hot tub into the episodes. Ok, I accept that Cheviot Hills was an upscale residential neighborhood with pools and hot tubs. I always wondered how Norman Fell and Jeffrey Tambor felt about having to do shirtless scenes in a hot tub I mean, for Norman Fell, of all people!

The part I didn't get was the SHARING of the hot tub between the Ropers and the Couple next door. Why would I want to share a hot tub??-lol

"Jerry, nothing can live in there. That's super heated water!!"

I found those 2 girls that join them were really hot. The on on the left did not look like from that time period, more modern of todays age.

Larry would tell any girl anything, if it meant him scoring some booty! LOL

I may tweak the truth a little about my job but not tell a girl that I'm doing something that's CLEARLY a lie-lol

I found it interesting that he said he was a Talent scout on the Ropers and a episode of Three's Company

I'm sure Larry found success with that line once, so why not try it again! SCORE!!

They needed shots of women in bathing suits - very moderately sexy scenes. I thought Norman was funny in the tub, too - he was once so awkward with a pretty girl and made an imitation of a motor boat...

There were at least Ann Brookes(Patricia McCormack), a stewardess who lived in the building, Helen Roper, Helen´s sister Ethel... Watch some of them on my YouTube channel: FELLNORM.

So far, I have only seen the Adoption episode with the now-deceased Lois Areno in a bikini.

I remember seeing Norman Fell, during his time on Three's Company and prior to The Ropers, appearing "naked" as a nudist on the 2nd season premiere of Charlie's Angels, which was set in Hawaii:

My comment was that Norman wasn't the guy you wondered "gee, when are they gonna ask him to do a shirtless scene?"

I mean, yea, you could see John Ritter or Richard Kline being asked..both of them were young and good looking (and it being the 70s when hairy chests were very in vogue).
