How Dumb is the network ION?? They add Baywatch on the weeknights and to top everything off, they add a Sitcom to their schedule thats already being aired on a major cable network-lol Is the people in charge of ION Programming on medication or what??? They add MASH???

M*A*S*H is a very popular series. It will bring in good ratings for ION.

But it's on TV Land already where it gets much better treatment-lol Can't understand this acquisition from the "Incredibly Odd Network"

I hope people can distinguish ION from TV Land. ION is a broadcast network (like ABC, CBS, NBC) while TV Land is a cable network.

So it doesn't matter to ION if M*A*S*H is already on TV Land, because TV Land's deal for M*A*S*H is not totally exclusive. It is not totally exclusive for cable even, as the show is also on Hallmark Channel. This could mean local channels could lose M*A*S*H this fall...which is big news, as it has never left local syndication since it came to syndication in the late 70s. Well technically if it does leave locals it won't be leaving, since ION is a local broadcast station, just that everyone gets the same feed.

Bottom line is ION is going for ratings in primetime...as long as they expand in the daytime, I'm fine with that. Bring on some 80s sitcoms in the daytime!

I'm just waiting for one attractive acquisition before Memorial Day-lol The last two have been HUH? Pav it's just dumb to me to air the same show in primetime that a national cable network is airing. Now if they air Mash on the weekends, that would make more sense

I guess they need high ratings to expand. I hate to think of all of those great shows in the WB and Sony libraries sitting idle, though...

Would it KILL them to give me some damn Knots Landing!?

ION showing Mash in Primetime along with TV Land is like someone selling bottled water in front of a Supermarket-lol

Ooooo, I'd love to see KL on there.

It would be nice to see them also finally give up at least two slots of paid programming.

Oh yeah they have. I mean, they decided to put DALLAS at 4 in the morning right in the middle of the season!!! How stupid is that? I have to get the remainder of DALLAS on DVD's so I can get my fill of J.R. Ewing.
