Default The Most unrealistic thing about this show was Maxine and Waldo

There was no way that a pretty girl like Maxine in a big city like Chicago would commit herself to one guy like WALDO and go to a drive in Movie with lawn chairs. There was no way that would ever happened and I hated seeing them together everytime I watched this show. All the Options somebody like Maxine would have had in the city the size of chicago would have had someone like Waldo so far at the bottom of the list he couldn't be FOUND-lol

I watched the ep today with her sitting on a lawn chair at the drive in, and I just turned the channel. Why would a pretty like max put herself through that type of embrassment?-lol

Waldo is not smart, but he is a nice person. Maybe it's that she liked with him. Even if the lawn chairs, was kinda weird. But Myra was worse in that episode.^^

Being just nice as a guy who looked like waldo in a big city would not have been enough to land a girl like max

No, you're right about that. Its not so believeable, but I'm glad that Waldo got a girl. He dated Laura in one episode. That didn't work out at all. But he got Max, Lauras best friend, wich is like Laura, so yes, it's strange.

Yeah Max said she like Waldo because he was so nice. He put his jacket on mud so she could walk over it, or something.

Waldo was more annoying than Steve, and I don't see what fine ass chick like Max wanted with Waldo. The only time I seen him serious was when Max was about to leave his dumb ass.

On the episode with the 5 way phone call Max told Laura that she was tired of dating losers. She was dating a guy and when she finished helping him fix up his car he dumped her. She was glad to go out with Waldo because he was a "gentle soul with a kind heart". Even after Waldo left the show she continued to pick the losers like the drug dealer.

In real life, I've seen some pretty women with ugly men. Look at Beyonce and JayZ, Heidi Klum and Seal, Christina Aguilera and her husband. It happens
