Default The episode where Jo and Blair go back to New York to visit...

There is a scene where Blair is making Tuna fish for lunch. She gets mayonnaise on her finger and licks it off her finger. The audience goes "Ewwwwwww" as she did that. How many of you thought that was also gross?

Did Lisa ever mention that scene in any interviews?

Honestly, I don't think Blair licking her fingers is that gross. Even though it was very unBlair like behavior.

Not abt licking her fingers, but eating the mayonnaise. The taste of mayonnaise alone is gross. That is why the audience groaned when she did it.

I don't think that was gross! Mayo is ok. Miracle whip is better. Neither mayo nor miracle whip is gross.

I like mayonnaise but can't eat it alone. I can lick mustard or ketchup off my fingers, but not mayo. And obviously it is gross to many other people because why would the audience react when she licked it off her finger? Had she had ketchup on her finger and did that, they wouldn't have had the same reaction.

The audience reacted when she dumped damn near a whole jar of mayonnaise in the tuna fish bowl, not because she licked the mayonnaise from her finger.

I'm in the probably minority of people who abhor mayo... there are only two things I can tolerate it with: tuna salad or a whopper. Though I usually request no mayo with the whopper. Ugh, I can't imagine someone eating it alone though.

They did react to that moment of her dropping the mayo on the tuna, as that would be funny no matter what, but their reaction was a "gross" reaction to Lisa licking the mayonnaise off her fingers. That made that moment so real to me because I can relate to that. I find the taste of mayo so gross until it is mixed with food, then I can tolerate it.

It is no big deal or issue, I was just wondering if anyone else caught that moment and if they had the same feeling abt her doing that.

I am totally with you on that, though I rarely eat burgers.

I agree 100%. I can't stand the texture, feel, smell of Mayo... it makes me gag.

Mayo is the reason why I don't like hamburgers from the big fast food chains (Jack, McDonald's, BK, etc.) I have to go to places like In-N-Out, Tommy's, and Fatbuger because they usually substitute it with Thousand Island dressing or avocado spread.

I too think they were reacting to how much mayo she dumped into the salad.
