"Mama's Family" aired from January 1983 to April 1984 before NBC canceled it. It was rerun on NBC (with the Alistar Quince introductions cut) until September 1985, when Betty White and Rue McClanahan co-starred in "The Golden Girls." "Mama's Family" returned to first-run syndication in June, 1986.
