The correct time for The Young ansd The Restless at - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have alway's wonder what is The Correct Time for The Young and The Restless is it 11:00 am or 11:30 am I know one station that airs it at 4:00 pm

It comes on here at 11:00 am Central time.

The official CBS start time for the show is 12:30PM ET/11:30AM CT. That way, their block of soaps goes uninterrupted for 3 and a half hours. A lotta stations carry the show a half-hour earlier, though, in order to put news between Y&R and B&B, thus making the unstoppable two hour block of "The Price is Right" followed by "The Young and the Restless."

I have two CBSs, one airs it at 11am and the other airs it at 4pm. Both are pretty neat, especially the 4pm one because that makes Y&R the only soap I can watch a full episode of after school without taping. It's also nice because it's unusual nowadays for a soap to air that late. I love the 11am airing too because I've always liked the idea of soaps airing in late morning slots..."Love of Life" spent its first 27 years on the air at either 11am or 10:30am and was pretty successful with it.
