Cool Did Jinny actually cheat??

Well, Teddy caught her kissing another guy in the bar during the last scene.....it wasn't like he caught her in the sack with another guy.

So would that be considered 'cheating'??

I think she felt rejected because it was a big decision for her to go on the long weekend and 'talk' to Teddy dearest regarding their relationship,,, only to have him back out.

What do you guys think?

Cool

Oh....I also found it ironic that the description in TV Guide was that 'Jinny Cheats.'

Actually, the main focus of the show was on Angela and the CD/Angela case,,,, also Magda and her ex....Jinny and Teddy dearest (as you guys refer to them) were just a small part of tonight's episode.

Yes... she cheated... damnit. I'm sure they... um... kept going if you know what I mean. Heh. Just like the scenes with Jinny and Teddy. You know what I'm saying... whatever. K. Bye.

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon [Jinny Dearest] and Jay Harrington [Teddy Dearest], and you're not. Hahaha!

Jay Harrington is all mine! I don't care what you guys say, cuz he's mine! Not yours! AHAHAHAHAAAA!

Mr. Blumenthal: And how about you, Jinny? *Teddy tries to take the drink away from
Jinny* Uhh... Ok. Please, tell us about some of your cases. The ones your on, please.
Jinny: Well, we just finished one where we nailed the step father for abusing his step
daughter. Yeah... she was three and a half.
Mr. Blumenthal: Awww. That's awful, you know, you can't pick up--
Jinny: *cuts him off* Then there's the one where, wait... we've got pending now, I'm tellin'
ya. OK, OK. You with me? *looks around and Teddy takes her drink away* So the guy, he
calls 911, OK? He says he's just killed his wife!
Teddy: All right.
Jinny: We can't find the body *takes her drink back from Teddy Dearest*, until we look in
the refrigerator.
Teddy: Ok. Hey Jinny.
Jinny: Very neatly carved.

Cool

Ok...maybe Teddy should've stepped in and done something about it. He did see them at the bar b4 it got to the bedroom.

Teddy hurt Jinny by backing out of their weekend. I know Jinny shoulda understood...but heck it's Jinny and she has a low self esteem because of her background.

Ya, I know. I felt so bad for her. I know it wasn't Teddy's fault that he couldn't go. I can see why Jinny thought what she did though. Awwwww

Teddy said the "L" word to Jinny. HE told her how much he cared and that her past didnt matter. Then she figures what the hell, and he backs out. You could tell she felt like he was running away. Infact, she even said it! I felt so bad for her...but now Teddy's mine!

Well, when Jinny has been drinking and starts making out with a guy at the bar, we all know what that ALWAYS leads to!

I felt bad for Jin, though. She thinks that Teddy doesn't want to be with her cuz of all of her problems. When Teddy told her he couldn't go away for the weekend when they were in the parking lot and Jin got into her car and started crying, I felt soooooo bad for her!

To me it looked like it was Jinny's fault cause when Teddy told her that he had to cancel, she thought he didnt wanna go with her and that wasn't it at all..
I feel sooooooo bad now...

When they showed that last scene I almost fell back in my chair*I was sitting at the computer chair trying to get into the Nancy chat* . It took me like 2 seconds to realize it was Jinny!I was like omg!!!

Michele, I see your point. I missed this eppy because I'm getting forgetful in my old age, but I'd have to agree with you. Snogging with another guy may be break-up material in high school, but as adults, in a mature, and supposedly loving, relationship, a mack should be able to be talked out.

I know I'm in the minority here, but don't let the door hit you on the way out, Teddy. He seems to be a really knuckle dragger sometimes.

well, i mean yea teddy let her down and all, but he had a big opportunity...she should have unerstood that a litte better. i mean she was tellin magda how she wanted to make it work and all so she really should have thought about what hse was doing (even though she was drunk...) before she made out with that guy. jusy my opinion...

Okay,Well. When Jinny kisses in the bar or wherever else. Doesn't neccassarely mean it's going to end up in the bedroom. How about hers and Theodore's first date in the parkinglot. They could have easily got away with anything they wanted there. No one around. Or even went to her place or his. He even made the comment, "I might show you if the mood it right." ,but obviously they didn't sleep together. Since in "Faces in the Crowd" they hadn't slept together, yet. Yes,I know the "Fooling around" will be mentioned,BUT again. You don't know if it was on the first date or whatever. They had been on 4 dates by the episode "Faces in the Crowd" so..I think it just goes to show. Jinny isn't as "easy" as everyone thinks. Given,She did feel differently about Theodore. That's why she dragged her feet with getting into a relationship with him. Because now she "Has something to lose". So why would she go out and purposely screw things up for herself? She may not be the smartest person in the world, but come on. Yes,she was hurt. That's a given fact. Which played along into that scene with the drinking and kissing some odd ball guy. You know? She felt rejected. Still that doesn't give her a right to do what she did,but I see how a kiss could easily be talked out. It may play into her getting to rehab. In the sense of her losing Theodore. I'm just trying to say. A kiss and several drinks doesn't Always mean you go straight to bed with the person. Even in Jinny's way of thinking. Also. Even if Jinny didn't stop. Who says the guy would keep going. Theodore didn't,and I'm sure there is more guys out there like Theodore who would be content with just kissing some lady in the bar. Which is all it was. Let's give Jinny the benefit of the doubt because we have no way of saying, "Oh yeah she slept with whom ever the guy was." I'm stubborn. I don't make insinuations like that, personally. I may believe it whenever the facts are staighted. I still say. It's not much to Jinny's character. We haven't seen the last of Theodore. I think he'll play a role in helping her recover.

(I only got to listen to the Episode so far. I was on the phone with Jeanie while it was on,but I know all that happened. Thanks Jeanie.)

------------------
Jinny: "Captain Amazing here decided to defend his wallet and laptop to the death. It didn't work, but you gotta admire the effort."
Theodore: "My whole life was on that laptop."
Jinny: "Ooh sad commentary."
Angela: "Did you see his face?"
Theodore: "White male. 18 to 22,Shaved head ,dagger tattoo on his wrist. I mean he caught me by surprise I could have taken him."

i totally agree with you there jin!

just because Jinny has a problem with drinking and sleeping with guys, doesn't mean that becuase she felt rejected that she is going to sleep with another guy!

You are very welcome. I know what it is like not to get to watch it. Oh and by the way as soon as I leave here I am dropping your tape in the mail. Sorry it has commercials. But it should be there in a couple of days.

Also forget to say that I agree 100% with #1_Nancy_McKeon statement. Just cause you kiss someone does not mean you have to go to bed with them. That doesn't always lead to sex. But That is my opinion and I think that Theodore will be back next season. I think that Theodore will forgive Jinny. And while we are on the subject. The TV guide and lifetime say that Jinny & Theodore break up. I never saw that on my TV. When someone breaks up they say it is over and so forth. I never saw that on my screen. I only saw a couple of kisses with a guy at the bar. Yes I have a very good imagination. But most of my family is from the Show Me State so I am one that likes to be shown before I believe. If I see it with my own two eyes then I will believe it. Nothing is always as it seems. You can not judge a book by the cover. You need to open it up and read it to judge the book. I guess what I am saying is just cause Jinny gave some dude a couple of kisses does not necessarily mean they went to bed together. I think Jinny cares for Theodore to much to do that to him. Drunk or not. But then again this is my opinion and no one can change my mind. I know what I like and I know just cause I see a few kisses does not sex make.

Jeanie

Teddy: So, uh... I don't know. What else did you buy?
Jinny: How do you know I bought you anything for your birthday? Maybe I plan on knitting you a sweater or... give you something much more organic.
Teddy: Well, you do give good organic.
