Default The Bathroom

Did anyone think it was strange that Howard would walk into the bathroom while Richie was taking a shower in some episodes? and then Howard would stand there and talk to Richie while Richie was in the shower.I just thought that was so wierd. I know I wouldnt want my parents walking into the bathrooom while I was in the shower. I know I would be screaming at my dad to get the heck out of the bathroom.

It is strange, but I think that happens in a lot of families...especially with men. I think it would have been way weirder if he walked in while Joanie was in the shower. I grew up in a one bathroom home and it could have happened if I didn't throw a fit about it and learn to ask everyone if they needed to use the bathroom before I went in.

Men do that I guess. I see nothing wrong with it. Now, if it was Marion walking in while Richie was in there, then that would be a problem.

Yeah I grew up in a 1 bathroom home myself and I hated it.My brother and I use to fight over the bathroom.I would get up in the mourning for school jump into the shower, and soon as I had the water going my brother would be pounding on the bathroom door yelling and sceaming-" I have to get to school, get the hell out of the bathroom!" Then I would yell back at him.I got so tired of fighting with him that I started taking my showers in the evening.
I also use to hate when we had company and they would go into the bathroom and stay in there for a long time.
Think goodness now I live in a home that has 5 bathrooms and those days of fighting with my brother over the bathroom are long gone.

To put one part of this to rest, this isn't something men typically do - at least not in my experience. I wouldn't like it at all if anyone came into the bathroom while I was showering, and I wouldn't do it to anyone else.

I have no problem with anyone coming into the bathroom if they really need something that is in there. One bathroom has certain things in there that are not in the other bathroom. As long as they knock, and my shower doors are not see -through, there is no problem with me.
