Reunited Again

Starring an ensemble cast that is portraying a group of high school friends who have went their separate ways after high school graduation, and now have reunited and friends again after attending their 10 year high school reunion. The group of friends begins with the former perky and preppy cheerleader, Katie Browner (Kate Hudson),who's always had the reputation with the guys. Katie's childhood best friend, Laura Delaney (Liv Tyler) who was almost the exact opposite as Katie, who was quite prim and proper, and wanted to wait until her wedding night to lose her virginity. Their friend and fellow cheerleader, Robyn Woods (Maggie Gyllenhaal) who was rebellious and often cyncial, who just joined the cheerleading squad on a dare. Robyn had a love-hate relationship with the quarterback of the football team, Derek Martin (James Van Der Beek), which eventually blossomed into a short-lived relationship a few months before graduation. Derek's two best friends and fellow jocks, Justin Hamilton (Brian Austin Green) and Ryan Campbell (Sean Maguire) often hungout with Derek and the cheerleading squad girls. Since the freshman year, Ryan always had a crush on Katie, but on senior prom night, Ryan and Katie consumated their friendship which proved to be Katie's "best time ever".
NOWDAYS, Katie works as an editor for a fashion magazine in Chicago. Justin is prepetual bachelor who have commitment issues with women, and owns his own nightclub in Chicago. Derek is a OB/GYN, with a past of being addicted to painkillers (due to his college football career-ending injury), and he is currently engaged to model/actress, Giselle Richardson (Samaire Armstrong). Laura is a popular radio talk show host, who is married to her loving husband of 5 years, Brad Moreau (Zachary Levi). Even though Laura loves Brad, she is now coming-to-terms with her formerly closeted attraction towards women, and yet hasn't confessed to her husband that she is a closeted lesbian. Also, Ryan and his best friend since graduation, Paula Nichols (Sara Rue)-who was a year younger than the gang in high school- co-own their own coffeeshop/bookstore downtown Chicago. Ryan is now openly gay, and claims he knew it the first time (and his last time) having sex with a girl, which was with Katie back on prom night. And lastly, Robyn is now an art gallery curator and an undiscovered artist, who happens to also be a single mother of her 10-year-old daughter, Kylie. Robyn is the only person who knows who Kylie's father is, and that he is actually her high school ex, Derek--who was never even told she was pregnant back in the day.

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
The gang meet up at their high school reunion, and make a pact to stay friends afterwards since everyone is living back in Chicago. Meanwhile, Katie learns of Ryan's sexuality, which embarrasses her after realizing she was the one who had "turned him gay". Also, Derek and Justin hit it off great with Laura's husband, Brad. Robyn keeps the fact that she has a daughter on a need-to-know basis.

Ep2: Night At The Club:
Justin's nightclub is celebrating it's first year of existence, he invites the gang to attend the celebration with VIP passes and drinks on the house. Robyn's former babysitter bumps into her at the club, which makes Robyn uncomfortable in fear she will blow her cover about being a mom. Meanwhile, Sean and Paula use each other as they pose as a couple to ward off any unwanted attention from other clubbers. Also, Derek introduces Giselle to the gang, instantly Robyn, Katie, and Laura aren't fond of her (mostly since he is 28 and she's only 22, and she just wants a sugar daddy). Katie resorts to her old ways, when she ends up having too much to drink and ends up leaving with a guy she just met.

Ep3: Hidden Attraction:
Laura can't help but find herself becoming attracted to her new manager at the station, Maria (Marisa Tomei) after only meeting for first time. Meanwhile, Paula and Ryan handle a mini-crisis down at the bookstore-coffeehouse. Elsewhere, after getting a visit from her sister, Jane (Katherine Heigl), Katie learns that Justin had slept with her twice a few years ago. Katie is irate that Justin would sleep with her little sister and not say anything to her about it.
