Temporary hair dye question

I am allergic to regular hair dye, so I use temporary colors (like herbal essences color flirt) that last a certain number of washes (or so they say). But everytime i wash my hair, it's back to its orignal color. Is there any special shampoo's i can use to keep the color as long as possible?

Also, there is a dye at Hot topic called Color Fiend, and i want to buy it in black. Has anyone had any experience with this dye? Is it good?

i used to use the temporary hair dyes but those would wash away after two washes.

maybe you can try henna instead. i don't know if you'd be allergice or what color you're going for, but it's safer and better for your hair. google it and see if it's a good idea for you.

and if not...there's always colored hair extensions you can get.

hmm...good idea, i didn't know henna was still used lol. I think i'll look into that. thanks for the suggestion
