Since TJ's joined date says Feb. 3rd, 2000, I have to assume that's the date the board was officially created. If I'm wrong, Please correct me.

The actual site itself opened on 19 January 1999, so it's 9 years old now. TJ just didn't open the boards until the next year.

Hard to believe it's been that long already.

No, no, you were right. The board anniversary was yesterday.

Just thought you'd also like to know how old the actual site is too. I'd been wondering that myself, so I wandered to the main page and there it is.

Fixed it. :-)

And actually, as TJ once explained to me: the forums existed briefly *before* February 2000, however, those very few posts are gone entirely, and so February 2000 is the official start.
