Gwyneth Paltrow Latest Actress to Prefer Marriage and Children to Stardom - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Gwyneth Paltrow announced recently that she no longer has the type of professional ambition she used to have before her marriage and children came along.

She said there are no plans at this time to return to her former intense filming schedule:

"I don't have the same ambition that I used to have, and don't work at a furious pace. I have a great life and I see everything differently now," she said.

"I know that shooting film after film doesn't make you happy, and I've never been happier with Chris and the children."

"I will do more films now that Apple and Moses are a little bit older," she also said to Britain's Now Magazine.

good for her, it's nice to see someone with her attitude, considering you see people like Britney who would rather lose their children to keep their stardom than mature into a responsible parent

Plus, your kids grow up anyways, leaving you the chance to return youthful when they grow up, look at Cher when she was in her mid-40's and was acting like she was a teenager again, she was making up for all the years Chastity and Elijah Blue were growing up, instead of acting wild when the kids needed their mom

Although, is she even getting the same kind of movie offers as before? Maybe that is why she is concentrating on the kids and the family instead.

It's nice to see she has her priorities in line. Kids need their parents, especially their mother, when they're young. Gwenyth is still in her 30s, looks fantastic, and could have the cream of the crop movie roles. She's choosing this. It's not like she's 48, and is playing the mother of teens. Nothing wrong with that, just saying that she's an A-List actress, cutting down her workload for her family.

No offense, but does Britney have to die before you'll let up on her? She's in a mental institution with severe bi-polar disorder, for crying out loud. I doubt she'd rather lose her children for stardom.
