Default No More Jane Seymour on Smallville
Jane Seymour, who had a recurring role in the fourth season of Smallville, will apparently not be back for a flashback in season seven. Mike Ausiello of TV Guide revealed the news in his weekly column.

Asked "A while back you said that Jane Seymour was returning for a flashback on Smallville this season. Now the rumor is she is not returning," Ausiello answered "It's true. A Smallville spokesperson confirms that "a scheduling conflict" put the kibosh on her one-episode reprisal."

Seymour appeared as Genevieve Teague, mother of Lana's boyfriend Jason Teague, who was conspiring to gain the power left in the Kryptonian crystals. Seymour made her first connection to the Superman mythology through her long-time friendship with Superman star, Christopher Reeve.
