Default Who liked Square One TV/Mathnet?...

... because the prosecutor in the Frederick Young case is "George Frankly" from the Mathnet series that appeared in that show. He's credited for the appearance on his page at imdb.com: "Joe Howard (I)"

I remember making a mental note of this, and then never mentioned it because I figured no one else would recognize him but me. How wrong I've been! Square One and 3-2-1 Contact were MANDATORY tv watching for me. Good times.

BTW, wasn't Yeardly Smith on an episode of Mathnet?

Yes, she was. In the episode, her pet gorilla climbed onto the Hollywood sign and George had to help get it down.

Yes, I'm a sad individual for knowing that...

That sequence of episodes was available on a popular video web site, last I looked. I believe it was also the first set of "Mathnets" that aired, if I recall correctly.

I credit Square One and Mathnet for my knowledge of combinatorics and the Fibbinachi sequence.

"1...1...2...3...5, eureka! "

Whenever I try to recite the first few numbers in the Fibonacci Sequence, it takes a concerted effort on my part not to say "eureka!" after five.

Cool I loved Square One

My favorite portion of the show was "Mathman", it was similar to pacman except he had to solve problems relative to whatever topic was being covered. Mathman, mathman, mathman

It would be nice if someone had recordings of all the Square One TV and Mathnet episodes and made a DVD set for them.

I remember that episode - for some reason it always scared me.
