Default Need (AIR DATE) Accuracy on Missing Episodes

I'm looking for anyone that can help me with answering any of these questions on accuracy... Come on Honeymooners, help out ole Dizzy Dean! Since reading old posts and other sources, I see there is some questions as to (air dates), one example being "Six Months To Live"..... Frank posted on the (trading Post) as the date being (10-4-52), Bill listed the date as (5-11-57), and I have it as (12-13-52)........ I don't think even The Honeymooners did 3 episodes with the same title! The following episodes below I found, thanks to Bill's Homepage..... Like to know if anyone has a source to check these episodes for accuracy, (notice 5 0f 6 titles are alternate episodes):

Alice's Birthday 5-16-53
Dorsey Brothers Show (Not New Years Party!) 5-23-53
Santa & The Bookies (1954 version) 12-18-54
What's The Name (1954 Musical version) 5-15-54
Letter To The Boss (1955 version) 5-21-55
Stand In For Murder (1955 version) 6-4-55 FULL ENDING!!!

Then there's the following episode that appears to be another Halloween episode-
Masquerade aka- Question mark 10-25-52

Thanks for any help with checking these air dates and Titles, and please post where you found the info..... I've been going by the book "TO THE MOON- Honeymooners Trivia"

Thanks Bill for that detailed list of Honeymooner lost Episodes! Finding a detailed list of lost Episodes that have been released and that are still missing has always been important to begin our Honeymooner quest to find everything that still exists. While going thru your list I have found myself questioning if there was 76 episodes that were released on DVD, I thought there was 77 released on DVD. I don't know if you meant to type in 77 episodes on DVD or not, but for anyone that doesn't have the DVD's, I'll post here the 24 volumes of episodes that are on DVD.

Also, the 2 episodes you mentioned, (What's The Name & Manager Of The Baseball Team) were released on the DVD set I have. Both "What's Her Name?" & "What's The Name?" is on the 24 volume set, along with the 1953 "Manager of a Baseball Team", the dvd listed it as 1957, but it's the 1953 version....

I didn't list all the Bonus specials like "My Man Norton", "Greatest Schemes", etc... That comes on many of the disc.... I only listed the episodes.

I didn't know the Pert Kelton Christmas episode from 1951 was out there for collectors.... I'm a little behind all the new releases fans have collected the last few years...... Once a more complete dvd set is released one day, maybe the Pert Kelton episodes will be officially released as well.

Hello DizzyDean!

I got that information from a guy that used to post on this website a long time ago. I don't know what his screen name was so to speak. In 2005, he a had a LONG list of things he wanted to trade. That is where I got the information from. I don't think it's correct because when John K. did research for his book To The Moon, he relied on old TV GUides. But who knows?

I should also point out that by now, I got those shows that I asked for on the Trading Post.

Yeah, It's 76 episodes like you said Bill! I did forget about MPI repeating the episode "What's her Name?", even if they printed 2 different titles with different air dates. How does a company like MPI make these kind of mistakes??? They even printed the date of the other "Manager of A Baseball Team" from 1957. I wasn't aware that the 1957 "Manager of A Baseball Team" and since it really isn't on the dvd set.... "What's The Name" 5-15-54 is only available on video.... That's strange it wasn't on the dvds! I guess now I have to add these 2 episodes to my want list.

Hey Frank! If you ever need any episodes checkout my homepage, maybe I can help. You mentioned on the trading post, that you needed the 1st Audrey Meadows episode "The New Bowling Bowl" & "Sprained Thumb (aka-Bus Accident), did you know that those 2 episodes are included on "The Best of Gleason I - II", and "The Great Gleason." I'm trying to catch up with some of the missing episodes that have surfaced in recent years, Greg, just like in the past will be helping me with some, and I have to get back to Ben, so if there are other titles you are still looking for, and I get any episodes you need, I'll be sure to let you know.

Hello DizzyDean!

I actually got that information that you asked for from a guy that used to post on The Honeymooners Message Board section of this website a long time ago. I don't know what "screen name", so to speak, that he went by. In 2005, he had a LONG list of things he wanted to get rid of. That is where I got that information. I don't think it's correct since John K's got research for his book To The Moon by reading old TV Guides, but who knows?

I did a tape trade with that guy and now I can say that I now have the episodes that I requested including "New Bowling Ball" & "Sprained Thumb."

Thanks Bill for the links... Greg is sending me some items which might include these, and Ben who I'm helping with Honeymooner items has one of these. I just finished sending you back a reply to your email to me. I mentioned that I could help you with any items you too, might need. I'm still trying to find that Jackie Gleason statement I mentioned.... "Maybe in another 30 years, I'll release the rest." I want to thank you publicly here on this board with all the info you provided to me & others. You are one of the good ones!!!

Dizzy Dean

ps)

Yes, after I get the items Greg is sending me, I'll update my list, so you can see what you might need.... The episode you mentioned, "The Babysitter", how would a person go about finding that, without the dubbed audio part?
