Default Your Favorite Recent Decade

Of the last four decades, the 70''s, the 80's the 90's and the 2000's, which are you most interested it. It doesn't have to be a decade that you personally lived during. I was born in 1976, so I remember very little about the 1970's, but along with the the 1960's it is the decade of the 20th century that I'm most interested in. The 70's had great movies, great music, great tv shows and great books. So, I'm going with the 70's.

80's, 70's, 90's, now

If I lived in Europe, current might not be so low (since there's more diversity there) but I feel that hip hop and other types of music I don't care for have gotten too popular and too dominating this decade

the 80s or 90s. i just think they were cool, and pop culture/entertainment was really interesting in those decades. in my opinion anyway.

now is...now, so it's not really fair to judge it, because everyone always hates the present but in 20 years looks back on it and says "aww look its the good old dayzzz!".

you're right. Back in the 70's I was having nostalgia for the 50's. Now years later I realize how great the 70's really were.

I think in actuality, everything gets so much worse that you yearn for the mediocrity because it's great compared to what's out now. I notice that I yearn for the days of all the bad teen pop music from the late 90's, I hated it then and I don't like it now, but.... compared to a lot of what's out now? it's brilliant.

I think recently music's getting a lot better as opposed to the late 90's/early 00's, though.

I like a lot of what's popular in Europe, there's a lot of great rock and pop and r&b out there. But in America, it seems like it's all the samey sounding hip hop and whiny emo groups, to the extent that you almost miss hearing "Bye Bye Bye"
