Just how realistic was it for someone to be sporting almost a different wig every week? Just how much did "head buyer" at the boutique pay?
 I think we saw Ja'net Dubois wear her own hair for the final two episodes of the show. |

Well, Willona was single and childless (for the first four seasons, anyway) and could afford to spend a little more money on clothes and the like. I'm sure she got a bit of an employee discount on the wigs. But yeah, I think it was a stretch that she had so many...
