Looking for someone who remembers this
Hi, does anyone remember a sitcom about 2 men who travel to space and have odd encounters? The theme song went something like this "It's about time. It's about space, about two men in the strangest place..."
I was a small child. Perhaps I dreamed it up. Everyone I ask does not seem to have a clue.

You didn't dream it, It was called It's About Time and it told the story of 2 space travelers who got lost in time and wound up in prehistoric days. The series got dismal ratings and in an attempt to revive it's ratings the series went into reverse and sent the space travelers back to their own time along with the cave people. Starring in the show were Joe E. Ross, Imogene Coca, Frank Aletter and Pat Cardi.

Thanks. I have wondered about that one for some time. I do remember, now that you mentioned it, the prehistoric setting. Was Planet of the Apes birthed from that sitcom? Do you remember a western sitcom about a horse named Sugarfoot? I sang that song as a little child and was in love with the horse. Then there was the one about the traveling dog, The Littlest Hobo. I have not met anyone who remembers these either.

Why is this posted on the SOAPS forum?
Wasn't this same question asked another forum? CORNER GAS which appears on station WGN had an episode titled THE LITTLEST HOBO, that referenced that show you speak of. |
