What is your site trying to install when I visit?

Whenever I come here lately (last few months) I get a popup box (not an ad, an actualy windows pop-up) saying that it is starting to install something. I have to cancel out of it 5 or six times before it stops.

It looks like it is looking for my install disc to get something.

Any idea of what is happening?

edit: it seems to only happen the first time I visit in a day.

I get that a lot too! It really bugs me.

Googled it - it doesn't seem to be inherently malicious. My guess is that one of the adverts on the site needs some sort of thing not currently installed in your Office configuration.

Yeah, it's some sort of Microsoft Office configuration. It only happens on my computer, since i've probably removed/deleted a few Office programs over the years.
