The FBI has released audio tapes of Whitey Bulger's voice.

An FBI recording of Leo Koury's voice was played on his UM segment. I always thought this was a good idea. Potential tipsters who may know the fugitive can match not only the description, but the voice as well. Seems like this tactic might reduce false leads.

Boston radio talk show host Howie Carr has covered Whitey Bulger extensively on his weekday radio show and has written a book, The Brothers Bulger, which chronicles the rise to prominence of former Massachusetts senate president Billy Bulger and the rise to infamy of his gangster brother, James "Whitey" Bulger. The book is a good read, with some great stories.

Howie also maintains a page for Whitey on his radio station's website, entitled "Whitey Watch."
