I was wondering if anyone knows what and how to spot the difference between the first original record lp and the re-issued one?
The other 2 albums (The Kids From and Phonographic) are easy to figure out. thanks David |

That's a good question. I own the re-released version of all 3 LPs. How can you tell a difference between the the original and the re-release for the "Kids From the Brady Bunch" and the "Phonographic Album" LPs?? I can't even find any source that definitively confirms that the LPs were re-released!

There are several ways to tell the difference but I don't own the Lp's so I can't compare them side by side. The most obvious would be if the reissued versions have a barcode. Other factors include:
Cover material, The original would probably have a cardboard feel to it while the reissue would have more gloss The Paramount label may have been altered Both Lp's should have some numbering or other info etched into the dead wax. In some instances if you'll read the fine print, It will say originally released in (insert year here) |

Zoneboy--there are no bar codes on the re-issues
The 2nd lp "Kids From the BB" has an off white color from being made of recycled paper the re-issue looks white. The 3rd lp Phonographic has a gatefold cover--the re-issue doesnt If anyone knows about the first lp Meet The Brady Bunch I still would like to know thanks David |

Maybe turn to the back cover and look for writing at the very bottom for the year the album was made/released as some Elvis albums I have look like the original until you look where I said and you will find more than one year listed like, 1963, 1992, 1993. <== just an example
I have been dealing/buying records/albums for quite sometime as well. |
