Default Two Crowd Explosions I didn't understand during season 1

The explosion at the end of Rich Man's Disease when George puts his head on Mother Jefferson's shoulder

The explosion when George and Helen were playing the dozens and george said-"YOUR MOMMA"

I mean was either of these moments really worth a lot of FOOT STOMPING????

Yo mama is (was) considered a slap in the face. You never disrespect a person's mother and therefore, saying it in that manner makes it disparaging.

However, I believe George said it because he had nothing better to come back with.

Solomon, I thought I read this question from you before...here it is:

Irene we been over this before, I don't write down every single thread I start so it is a chance something maybe brought up again. It was brought up again because I decided to analyze season 1 again because nothing else was on TV so I probably didn't realized I asked it before.

BTW: That post was a year and a half ago so atleast give me credit for repeating a thread MONTHS LATER. Now if I had repeated that thread in 2 months then I would have a problem-lol

Yes I know. Besides it gives the new members something to post to and maybe get a conversation going here.

I was just wondering if it was just me or did I read that question before.
