Default Worst unsolved murder case

I thought I'd start this thread. since there is a worst fugetive thread......and that's a good thing nothing like killers getting caught.

there probably has been a thread like this before.....forgive me I'm the FNG! but what is the one murder case that bugs you the most? mine is the bordello murders profile. ed carter is as guilty as it gets and it really bugs me that he got away with double murder.

Being the resident Montanan, I cast my vote for the disappearance and presumed unsolved murder of Father Kerrigan.

I once read a book that stated his body was found and that the $1000 was recovered from his pocket. Obviously, UM didn't mention the discovery of a body and I've never found news articles or anything to back up the writer's claims.
I think the book is wrong, but I would still be curious to know for sure. Since you live in the area, Ms. Christina Ricci lookalike, have you heard anything to confirm Kerrigan's body was found?

The book also associated two other priest murders with this same killer, a fact not mentioned on UM. I tend to doubt this theory though. The UM priest connection was tenuous enough, but the two other murders are even more of a stretch since the MO was pretty different, IIRC.

They found a body up in the Mission Mountains near Ronan, MT about a year ago, and the local paper ran an article stating that the body was NOT that of Father Kerrigan, which tells me that his body has yet to be recovered.

They found Father Kerrigan's car, I believe, which may have had his wallet in the trunk with cash in it. I think I remember something about money being found, because they assumed that robbery was NOT the motive. Let me poke around for a second and I'll post the link to that news article...

Chaim Weiss. That case should be solved. Drives me nuts.

Judy Smith (Boston woman, met her husband in Philadelphia, never exactly confirmed she made it there, then appeared in North Carolina, later found dead there). They should be able to figure that out too.

The two Mary Morris deaths. I want to know what happened.

Eric Tamiyasu - What really was Don Dixon's relationship with Eric? Did any of the three people interviewed in the segment do it, or could it have possibly been related to the girl that Eric had a date with the night he was ultimately killed?

Matt Flores - That one is just weird. Who was driving that SUV? Who were they waiting for? Did they get the yright guy?

Charles Morgan. the Ladner boy. Tony Lombardi. Henry/Ives.
these are some of the creepiest, heart-wrenching unsolved homicides ever
profiled on UM.

Yeah, Charles Morgan always ranked up there with me as one I want to know about.

I'd also love to know definitively who's guilty in the Jeffrey McDonald case.

And just for plain weirdness, "Wm. L. Toomey", the guy who committed suicide in the church. Something tells me there is an interesting story behind that act. . .

This sounds creepy, but unexplained death cases were always my favorite. Always such interesting stories.

Worst unsolved murder for me is the double murder of Roxanne Jeeves and her young son. What brings this whole travesty to a whole new low is the fact that this murder could have been related to her brother's drug debts.

I forgot Danny Casalero (sp?). There's GOT to be more to that story than just suicide. Even if it was suicide, why would he do it?

Very, very odd.

Multiple sclerosis and the realization that the book about the conspiracy theory he had spent five years working on was so much smoke?

Is that true? I guess I'd never heard either one of those things mentioned.

If that's true, why slash his wrists? His family said he used to faint or be really squeamish at the site of blood.

This one is terrible, but it now lies in the "Solved" section. An arrest was made last year using hair samples that he left in the cap that was found in Roxann's car.

This all happened here in Dallas. I was so happy. I seen a side shot of the guy too and he definetely resembled the composite. Not sure if he's been convicted or not, but I'm sure he will be.

Wow. I can't believe this case has been solved. I was sure they were never going to catch the suspect. Hopefully, the family can get some closure.
