Born in 1913, Bob LeMond is a little known, yet indispensable attributor to the career of Lucille Ball. He provided the introduction to each and every episode of her early radio program "My Favorite Husband". Sound familiar? That's because over 30 of those classic MFH episodes are available on DVD via the season sets of I LOVE LUCY. He also did voice-overs for the opening credits of the classic LEAVE IT TO BEAVER SERIES and the pop-culture mega-hit THE ADVENTURES OF OZZIE AND HARRIET. He also provided the narration for I LOVE LUCY's unaired pilot (see season one on DVD), narrated for THE ADDAMS FAMILY, and was the announcer for many of radio's early situation comedies. Bob, you will be missed.
