Originally shown as a part of "special six", the NBC version of this story contained a brief clip in which Stack rattled off the names on some of the letters that were still undelivered.
On the Lifetime version, this clip is gone. I take this to mean that either the letters were eventually delivered, or Lifetime didn't care to look into the matter and do a formal update so it was easier for them to hack this clip out. Does anyone know for sure? |

I'm sure this one it gonna be a hit or miss because....I'm sure they could track down some of the recipients of the letters...but others may be near impossible to find due to moving and the passage of time.

Maybe it was a time issue again Justin? - I remember they deleted the Steven Hadley segment from that episode and replaced with Roxanne Woodson which might be a bit longer in length given there is an update to that one.
Also they chopped out a great deal of the Dorothy Allison segment as I recall. If it wasn't a time issue maybe it was a privacy thing, maybe "Lifetime" didn't want to keep putting out the names of these soilders time and time again... I dunno but those would be my top two guesses as to why the segment was trimmed. |

^ Yeah I always thought the exact same thing about that segment. I was unaware about the segments being editted for a long time not having anything to compare them to but I remember seeing that and first off on the edited version it seems like the segment fades out for lack of a better word.
So you are left with a feeling of "WTH? that was different". I do think there are several other "cute" segments out there that really had no buisness being on the show. Lets see if we can get a list going and then crystalmeth can put together her best DVD ever: UM That Weren't Really Mysterious At All - Magic Rock - Boy In Long Island Sends Out A Message In A Bottle |

Hey why don't you churn out another of those legendary "Unsurpassed Mysteries" with that theme. Would you like me to start a petition to persuade you?

- Fertility Statues With the exception of the magic rock, these useless segments are from the later seasons after the show took a nosedive, imho. |
