Default TV Finally died tonight after 20 years and I was very emotional:(

1988-2008, man the end of a era. Well I can't be too frustrated and have to move on. Never expected this to happen but that TV was always reliable since 1988 and I wish I could have held on for some more years but all good things eventually come to a end

Do you ever notice like a green line whenever you watching TV?
One of our TV's died just before Christmas and that's what we
noticed. The picture was getting dark and it kept showing a green light.

We had an old Zenith TV with rabbit ears for most of my childhood. Then a black line appeared at the bottom of the screen, and it grew bigger and bigger until it took up almost the entire picture!! As it turned out, my grandparents had just bought a new TV, so they gave us their old one. We had that TV for about 5 years.

it's hard to explain, i'm seeing this horizontal lines going across the screen. The sharpness is no longer there even when a cable wire is screwed into the TV

LOL - actually, if you've got a good signal, you'd be surprised just how much better even Good Times is on a Plasma!!

There's a huge difference in even the old black and white stuff like Dick Van Dyke. Everything's clearer~!

Time to come into the new Millenium Sol!

The first sign of a picture tube going - is just having to ask the question!

Oh man, that TV is probably on its last leg. I know some of those old televisions sure can last a long time, but I am sure it is getting ready to go. Sorry.

Yeah It's been through a lot, and all through the years I never thought about replacing it. All through the 90's and this decade, just never crossed my mind.
