Ellen DeGeneres Tops Oprah In TV Personality Poll - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Comedienne and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has beaten Oprah Winfrey to be named America's favorite TV personality in a new poll.

DeGeneres climbed up seven places from last year's Harris Poll to take the top spot, which had previously been ruled by media mogul Winfrey since 2002.

Fellow host Jay Leno came in third position, while House star Hugh Laurie and funnyman Jon Stewart rounded out the top five.

Who said they were? Has Rosie ruined it for all gays, lol. That aside, I think it will be a great day when a gay person can be mentioned, without the fact that they're gay being brought up.
