There are songs that one could dedicate to a particular person. So my question is this: Is there a particular song (or songs) that you would dedicate to someone who was associated with or featured on Unsolved Mysteries?
This can include staff members of the show, interviewees, or someone profiled on the show (missing persons, murder victims, fugitives, etc.). |

I'd probably dedicate Green Day's 'I Walk Alone' to hi-jacker DB Cooper.
Such a daring crime. I'm sure he was not a follower..... A second song I'd dedicate to him would probably be Johnny Rivers's 'Tracks of My Tears' just because that song was probably playing on the radio when Cooper jumped. People were probably listening to that at that time. |

Great idea for a thread!
I would dedicated Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads to all the unidentified serial killers profiled on UM. But that's an easy one.

"Breaking up is hard to do" dedicated to Mr. Randall Utterback...
"I always feel like somebody's watching me" for Cindy James, the Wackers and Blair Adams. Barbra Streisand's "Guilty" for the final appealants... Or how about... "Don't stand so close to me" for "Tony" and Adam Hecht's mom. |

"S.O.S." by ABBA for the Sarah Jo... "Raindrops Keep Fallin on My Head" for the gelatinous goo segment... "Video Killed the Radio Star" for the DJs who faked a murder confession on their radio show "Gonna Make You Sweat" for the lady who sweat gold leaf out of her pores "Life on Mars" by David Bowie for the Mars face photos "Mind Games" by John Lennon for the Whackers "Wave of Mutilation" by The Pixies for the chupacabra "Sexy M.F." by Prince for Robert Stack

"We're not gonna take it" by Twisted Sister dedicated to Jule Caylor's lame explaination for what happened to his wife.
"Stranger in my house" by Ronnie Milsap dedicated to that fat dude who lived with his parents, who claimed his 16 year old wife would be overcome by this mysterious spirit. "Ring of fire" by Johnny Cash dedicated to Donny Hansen. "The Devil went down to Georgia" by Charlie Daniels dedicated to "Tom Johnson". CRicci would dedicate "Cant fight this feeling" by REO Speedwagon to Paul Pollis. "I ran (so far away)" by A Flock of Seagulls to Brad Bishop. "Love is a battlefield" by Pat Benatar dedicated to Jim Burnside who is on my top 40 list of trash profiled on UM. "That aint love" by REO Speedwagon dedicated to Steve Wilson. |

Anyway, I have a song that I would dedicated to a lot of the murderous low lifes profiled on the show (especially the late cop killer Sam Wodke, who was the 135th fugitive to be captured as a direct result of UM): "Burn In Hell," by Judas Priest. Some of the lyrics add up well, especially the following: Have you got a gun Do you remember well Who d'ya use it on You're going to burn in hell It was recorded with Tim 'Ripper' Owens as the frontman, but it is a cool and therapeutic song. |

'Who can it be now?' by Men at Work would be a perfect soundtrack to dozens, if not hundreds of cases.

How about "Papa Don't Preach" to Cynthia Anderson's father?
(of course, I'm not implying that Cynthia was pregnant.) |

Actually, for Paul Pollis, I would recommend "The Cleaning Song," as seen on the television show LazyTown....
