to be in rapper Master P's Still Bout It straight to video movie hahahahahahaha. She deserves to be in something better than that. It's a shame the movies that some actors will be in just to get paid. Her financial situation must be messed up for her to appear in that waste of a movie.

Actors/actresses don't go around and ask to be in movies. They get calls to be in movies. She probably got lucky and was happy to be asked. You won't see Bernadette in any big projects simply because the only people who know about her are fans of Good Times. Big names mean big projects. Sorry to say this about Bernadette but she is not a big name actress.
