Oh No Another Goof- project building 17th floor

I was just wondering, how is the Evans family living on the 17th floor in the projects and the highrise project building that is in the opening credits does not have 17 floors, I counted the floors during the opening credits and the building does not have 17 floors.

Also, how in the world is the street is leveled with the 17th floor looking out of the window, during the first season of the outside background view, just wondering.

Good question - I guess they figured we wouldn't notice.

welcome to the board and I like your analytical skills-lol I brought this up before and like you said it's clearly seen in the opening that the building show only has 8 floors which never matched the number of floors mentioned on the show which is defintely another goof

Well I went to a Carbrini Green website and I counted the floors and I counted 16 floors, and if you include the basement it would be 17 floors.

That is fine, but remember, we are talking about the building that is in the opening credits--the viewers are assuming that the evans family resides in one of those highrise project building that is in the opening credits-

Yeah but it was never stated which building the Evans lived in. So who's to say that the building we see in the opening credits was their apartment building. If you click this link Cabrini Video you'll see that it wasn't just one building.

Also, how can it be 17 floors, did the agent from housing authority start from the basement (walked down) to the basement to (walk up) 17 flights of stairs to come to the evans family apartment? (the elevator was down)

Some buildings had different levels, not all of the buildings had the same equal amount of floors.

I agree. If the building shown in the opening credits isn't the Evans' apartment building, why show it?
