Question To all ladies!

I washed the dishes for one of aunts a few days ago because she asked me to. Then, today she asked me to vacume (or however you spell it) the floor. because she mentioned it yesterday, I forgot, and I asked if she wanted me to still do it. She said yes. I was wondering does your husband/boyfriend do any chores around the house? I'll help out (to my future girlfriend who maybe reading this. lol), but one thing I won't do is cook. Sometimes, I burn pop corn.

Only when forced, basically.

I'm kind of picky anyway, so a lot of things I'd rather just do myself. Except bathrooms. I have a very hard time with bathrooms and I won't clean his. Bathrooms make me actually sick. He's gonna have to do his own toilet and shower.

I do ALL the housework AND yardwork and most of the repair and decorating around the house, as well as working a full time job.

Guess why we're splitting up?

My man and I aren't married yet and we don't live together but when we do get married I will do everything BUT the yard work. Not because he wouldn't be glad to help (I'm just picky and like to clean my home a certain way lol). I'm Italian so he knows the kitchen is off limits... that's my space. I'm a bit of a neat freak and really enjoy cleaning so I'd rarely need his help. Yard work is a whole different story! I hate the heat, any type of bug scares me, I pay to much for my nails to risk breaking any and I just refuse to do it... I'd rather pay someone to keep it nice. Thankfully he's on top of the yard work at his house.

Thumbs up

I'm completely single at the moment but I have to say that any man who is willing to share the housework/yardwork is worth his weight in gold. Keep it up, Brandon - someday you'll make some lucky girl very happy!!!

We share everything. Usually If one of us notices the carpet is dirty, we'll just vacuum it ourself. If one of us is hungry for something, we'll buy the ingredients and cook it ourself. If i notice the pipe is leaking, i'll fix it myself. No need to ask or nag for something.

Thumbs up My Boyfriend Helps Out

My boyfriend does help out quite a lot; actually he does more than me.
I hate doing any housework but, I will make some effort. He may not do things the way I would do them for example: folding laundry but, at least he helps out. If we ever have our own house; he will probably do more than me.
That doesn't mean that I won't do anything but, he will do more especially outdoors. When the time comes, we will have to sit down, and discuss it.

How nice of you to ask.

Yes, my boyfriend helps out around here. If you live here, you do work around here. Although it is funny you brought this subject up as yesterday I just as I seen how our bed was made. It was not done neatly. He seemed to just hurry up and make it. I didn't tell him anything because if I do, I am merely telling him, "You don't do it right, so don't do it." I would rather have him fix it up then have to make the whole bed.

Besides, no one can clean up around here the way I like. I have to have things CLEAN! Dust-free, cleaned to the nines. Merely putting things away doesn't cut it. My eldest daughter is the only one around here who does things the way I love.

Thanks, Monika. Hope you find a man that will make you happy.

TripperFan: You'll find another guy that will treat you right.

It's good all your other halves are doing something. I think women go through enough without having housework on top of it all.

I'm OK being single - my philosophy is that when the time is right, it'll happen. Plus I'm too busy with work and other activities right now for dating. I like your attitude, Brandon...I don't know any sane woman who wouldn't appreciate it!!

My husband is a neat freak, to the point where it gets on my nerves a lot of the time. I can be drinking some water and I'll sit the glass down and when I come back the glass is in the dishwasher. So yeah, I don't have to worry about him not cleaning or doing yard work.
