Default Goof Big Mistake

I have watched the 5 episodes on the first season and could you believe, there was no bathroom door, later on that season, up came a bathroom door--

Remember, Michael did not have a bedroom, when he got suspended, James ordered him to his room, James saying, I said go to your room now-

How come the milk carton is always empty and partially open when Florida returns from the grocery store and the egg carton is empty all the time.

I saw on one episode, during the first season, the family was sitting at the kitchen table and the camera was going around the table, jj goofy self duck his head away from the camera looking up at the camera.

What about the painting when jj painted thelma and thelma said that she looks like Wilt Chamberlin, jj painted thelma with shorts and tennis shoes on, thelma was wearing a yellow shirt and purple pants and her hair do was totally different, big mistakes.

There was always a bathroom door.

JJ's paintings were done by the way he saw things, not how people dressed. He always did that. When he painted the Wiggler (the woman who wanted herself to be painted naked) he painted her in a different bikini than the one she wore.

James just said "go to your room" but we knew Michael didn't have a bedroom, but he and JJ shared Thelma's room for studying and other things, except sleeping, so it was Michael's room. And J.J's room too.

The rest of your comments, those are not goofs.

Then why would jj have people standing there to paint an incorrect picture portrait, what was the purpose of the hair, clothes and pose are all totally different from what he was painting -

I just popped in my DVD's and there is the bathroom door. There is a small separation of some sort on the wall, a sort of divider but you can easily see Thelma's bedroom door and the divider, where you assume the bathroom is.

J.J. like a lot of artists, need models and in his case, he painted people by exaggeration. He needed them to pose so he can paint their facial features, but the rest, he used his imagination. Many artists do that. There are some artists who don't need models or don't need the person to stand in front of them to make the painting. Do you think artists who painted Jesus had Jesus right in front of them? No. They use their imagination. And that is what J.J. did. J.J. did mention at least once on an episode that he painted people the way "he saw them."

As for James saying, "Go to your room" I believe that is just a remark James said since the whole apartment belongs to everyone. He was too angry to care how perfect his grammar was.

I just watched it. There are two doors on that wall and the parent's door facing the audience.

You will see something protruding from the wall, it looks like a divider. You then have Thelma's room right in the corner, almost on top of the parent's door. But there is two doors on that wall.

Yep. I have seen Good Times a zillion times. I have the DVD, I seen the door. The camera doesn't show the door, it pans in that direction, you have to look real good.

You also said in the first five episodes you didn't see the door. Do you still say that or is it just the first episode now?

That divider that comes out of the wall, is where the bathroom door is supposed to be. It is facing in a different direction. It faces towards Thelma's door. Later, that divider was removed and the wall was made flat and the door was side by side with Thelma's. I checked the first three episodes.

In the first episode there wasn't a bathroom door and Thelma's bedroom door isn't there at all. Where that gray piece of concret wall is there's a plant stand there with a lamp on top where the bathroom door and Thelma's door would be.

It looks like that kitchen wall that has the pic of Jesus on it is shorter which makes that kitchen bigger and that would explain why there's no bathroom and why Thelma didn't have a bedroom in the first episode. So yeah that was a huge goof in the first episode.
