What's With The King Of The Hill Episodes Lately? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The last two shows have seen hank's dad cotton hill die and hank's beloved dog ladybird goes deaf. Whats next we find out boomhauer has aids from having so much unprotected sex or bobby hill finds out he has incurable leukemia. I mean cmon Mike Judge lets get back to some funny KOTH storylines not this serious junk. I watch KOTH for comedy not sad stuff.

I think it has more to do with showing that time is passing, and doing something different, yet, true to life; after all, if they do the exact same storylines time after time (*cough* Homer gets famous, then screws it up *cough*) the show will become totally stale(*cough*Married with Children*cough*)
