Thumbs down Worst of the worst....

OK, type up what you think is the worst of the worst something that aired on UM. It could be the worst segment, sketches, acting, criminal, update, names, anything. I'll start.

That poor dog Wolfka. What were they thinking naming him that? I'm sure it means something in another language but, you've got to admit that's messed up.

The worst criminal I can think of right now is that unknown caucasian man who was well dressed, and would walk calmly into a store in a strip mall, and shoot to kill everyone in there. Then he would just walk out. Wasn't there a survivor? He told him "Hey man, I just came to buy some stuff I didn't see nothing", or something like that right? Anyway, what a --------!

that would be the I-70 killer. most of the time, there was just a single clerk in the store (it is believed the killer did his crimes at time when he thought there would be just one clerk in the store), although there was one instance where there were 2 clerks in the store. the survivor was never shot at - although probably would have been had he went in the back room as the killer requested.

Don't remember everything about the case, but my worst of the worst was the entire family that was killed in their camper somewhere in western ontario. That killer sure scared me too

Worst segment: the Aphrodisiac segment. Probably UM's lowest moment.

I don't think that actor was bad so much as he was trying to show just how ridiculous that guy sounds when he talks that way. That actor handled those scenes pretty well, imo.

Here are my candidates for WORST JOB OF DEFENDING THEIR INNOCENCE:

1. Paul Pollis – Defiant, devoid of any kind words for his missing wife, seems to implicate members of his own family, sexes up dolphins. His whole attitude just really left me with nothing to connect with in his filmed interview. As a father of 2 children of close age, I’ll be dayumed if I ever would have involved them, plus another, on a 10 hour ride through town running difficult errands.

2. Timothy McClure – just thee most absolutely bizarre take on how to plead your innocence I could ever imagine. Regardless of all the weird occurrences that point to his guilt…just the way the man chose to answer questions makes him look either guilty or haplessly moronic or a cunning criminal mastermind who has committed the perfect crime and gotten away with it by pretending to be Forrest Gimp.

3. Donny Hanson – “Absolutely ludicrous” is what he deems any assertions that he killed his sisters, despite the FACT that he was caught trying to cover up a crime before anyone even thought a crime had occurred. Also chose to go with the “distorted face and voice” routine which goes a LOOOOONG way towards making you look like you got something to hide.

Here are my candidates for WORST MOTHER-IN-LAW TO HAVE:

1. Cheryl Nagi – As guilty as I think Paul Pollis, I have to empathize with the man for marrying into a family in which the mother and daughter communicate via phone 15 times a day, and when the grown daughter gets an ear infection the mother, having spoken with the daughter at 2 a.m., calls before 9 a.m. on a Saturday and then calls back every 20-20 minutes. Again, not saying anything good about Paul Pollis, but I can understand if the families didn’t like each other BEFORE Charlotte went missing. Oh yeah...then she splits with your daughter.

2. Sandra Maple – Nuff said.

Well, the winner of the Worst Wig Awards has to be the woman who played Marilyn DePue. Talk about a bad hair day

The chocolate hearts?? LAME!!

I also laughed at the segment about the "Dale" three-wheeled car and the tranny inventor. Classic.

The only good thing about the aphrodisiac segment was when it ended. Robert said "When in doubt try a box of chocolates, or a dozen roses." Then he smiles. That was the high point only because he rarely smiled like that.

That is so weird!! I was compiling this very list but I didn't know the exact names so i was going to wait until later. i have 3 nominations that might beat out Mrs. DePue:

1. The actress playing Pamela Ray (the woman abducted from the Florida motel at 5 am while her kids slept in the car).
2. The man who rented a car with Beverly McGowan's credit card.
3. Jeffrey Digman's dad!

I'd like to add this category: Worst acting from participant (not actor) and nominate:

One of the moms (Gayle) who participated in the re-enactment was a bit wooden. Check out the beat she's asking Joe when his wife will be back to teach piano lessons:
"When is Gladys coming to back Seattle and resume her (slight pause for head shake) music lessons (flutter eyelashes and clasp hands together)" before Joe loses his patience.
And curtain closes down on another amateur night!
It's on volume 3, from the Joe Owens segment.
