We are not told what happened to them, but it's hardly an overall point of concern in TBH. Ravenswood appeared in 8 episodes, and Marie in 3.
As for the actors, Arthur Gould-Porter continued to have some screen credits until the 70's, mostly comedies, and he died in 1987. I had never looked up Sirry Steffen before, but imdb.com say she was a former Miss Iceland, with only one screen credit (1984) since 1964. Unless she was a stage actress, I assume there is little to be known about her. Have you noticed, though, in "The Great Feud" episode, after Jethro picks her up and Granny is telling him to put her down, how she smiles as if she is loving that scene?

I noticed that; and she was probably smiling because the script told her to.

Maybe so, but it does seem inadvertant, and she otherwise shows fear of the Clampetts and their guns, and of Jethro's arms.

I wished they would have kept them, although there wasn't really anything for them to do.

Hey, saw on TV Land last night an episode from the first color season, 1965 I think, and Ravensworth was there as the butler!

Another early color episode I enjoyed this week was one where several of the Drysdales' young women servants wanted to watch football and hockey on color TV, which was rare for anyone to have back then. But the Clampetts had a new color TV set in their "parlor" so one pretty maid pretended to like Jethro to get him to take her to the parlor so she could watch a big football game on the color TV. ![]() It was fun to hear her ask Mr. Drysdale to buy a new color TV and that the big 21 incher color sets were coming down in price lately as low as $400. The biggest color TV sets mentioned were 25 inch! That was a huge sized picture back then.

speaking of that; how about the TV that the Drysdales give them in "CHRISTMAS AT THE CLAMPETTS" (one of the Christmas episodes on "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES & PETTICOAT JUNCTION ULTIMATE CHRISTMAS COLLECTION" DVD) with the old "rabbit ears" antenna?

(that was also the first color season for "THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW" & "THE LUCY SHOW"-"THE LUCY SHOW" started filming in color in 1963, but was shown in black and white until 1965) |
