Default Unsqueezed Credits/ Missing Scenes

I've been playing around with my editing software, and think I've got the closing credits unsqueezed.
Take a look here, let me know what you think.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Zu38EMHb3A

Also, as I'm editing these episodes, I was going to see if anyone has other Alice episodes taped, from either syndication, E!, or TNN, and wouldn't mind lending me them or making copies. I'd like to restore as many missing scenes as possible.

I'd be happy to do a trade, or offer DVD copies of the "restored" episodes once they are finished.

I hate to break this to you but TNN and E had missing scenes too. I can see you only doing this with Alice eps from CBS. I have 4 eps of Alice from CBS, 1 from 1980, and 3 from 1984

I know they had missing scenes, but theres a good chance they may not have cut the same scenes that ION is cutting.

I doubt if it works like that, there would still be a chance that something would be missing since all stations in syndication have to make cuts

ION butchered up some episodes. For instance, the episode from season 4, Alice in TVLand, when Tommy went on the talk show and spill the beans about his mom, Mel and Flo that scene was cut out. Here was a big chunk was missing so there was no explaination of why the staff was at odds with each other. That was the episode with Eve Arden.

Another episode that got butchered up was the Christmas episode when Mel's friend came back in a ghost like manner to show Mel the spirit of Christmas. The scene where they all got fired was butchered. It was not shown.

TVLand does a bad job of editing as well.

It's a stretch to say that Ion "edits". They simply chop out scenes, that oftentimes are critical to the plot.

They could easily edit a minute here and there, of the nonessential plot lines, but that seems like it would be too much work for them.

What I'm hoping is that if I can get a hold of episodes from a different airing, I can at least restore some of what ION has cut.

Exactly what I am talking about because they left out a scene in the episode where Tommy goes on the talk show and tells everything about how Alice is as a mom, how cheap Mel is and Flo being her favorite adult. That scene was funny and explained the anger that the diner staff had. It was the episode that Eve Arden guest starred on.

I'll bet more of the episodes would make sense if ION edited the show better.

Hi. I have ALOT of Alice episodes. Some from the CBS run on daytime in the early 80s, some from TNN, some from a local channel from Orlando in the 80s and some from the original CBS run.
I'd be glad to trade with you for the restored versions if you're still interested.
Thanks!

You're right about some stations not cutting the same scenes. I have several episodes with all different cuts.
