Thumbs up This station has gone back to the 70's with the ABC Tuesday night line-up!

KDOC airs here in So. California and they have just taken me back in time with their new line-up!!!!! This station is a classic tv station and they changed their evening line-up.

http://kdoctv.net/schedule.htm

Anyone from the 70's who remembers when ABC gave us on Tuesdays nights HAPPY DAYS, LAVERNE & SHIRLEY and MORK & MINDY, well they are now airing these shows in that same order Monday thru Friday!!!!!! I haven't seen L&S in years as well as Mork & Mindy, so seeing these two shows along with HAPPY DAYS on a daily basis just like ABC did back in the days is really awesome!!!!!!!!

The only time they aired in that order was on Tuesday nights. But didn't Laverne and Shirley eventually move to Thursday nights?

Sounds like a great lineup - too bad I don't live in California

Awesome schedule. I'd be all on those afternoons airing of "Quincy" and "Hawaii Five-O" every day. Too bad Hallmark doesn't air shows like that anymore.

Nope. The original line-up was on Tuesdays. Eventually Laverne & Shirley did move to Thursdays.

I wish our local stations in the Cleveland market showed terrific reruns again. Those were the days...

These are some of ABC's Tuesday night lineups from the late 1970s and early 1980s, from Wikipedia:

1977-1978:
7pm: "Happy Days"
7:30: "Laverne & Shirley"
8pm: "Three's Company"
8:30: "Soap"
9pm: "Family"
The only true competition for any of the shows was that TC and SOAP were up against "M*A*S*H" and "One Day at a Time" on CBS. "Family" was up against "Lou Grant" on CBS and the dying "Police Woman" on NBC.

1978-1979:
7pm: "Happy Days"
7:30: "Laverne & Shirley"
8pm: "Three's Company"
8:30: "Taxi"
9pm: "Starsky and Hutch"
No real competition from either CBS or NBC. ABC dominated; L&S and TC were tied for #1 and HD and TAXI were both in the Top 10.

1979-1980:
7pm: "Happy Days"
7:30: "Angie"
8pm: "Three's Company"
8:30: "Taxi"
9pm: "The Lazarus Syndrome"
No competition, but HD and TAXI fell out of the Top 10, while ANGIE bombed after an impressive midseason run. "The Lazarus Syndrome".....right.

1980-1981:
7pm: "Happy Days"
7:30: "Laverne & Shirley"
8pm: "Three's Company"
8:30: "Too Close for Comfort"
9pm: "Hart to Hart"
No real competition. HD stayed in the Top 20, along with TCFC. L&S was dying, but TC was still in the Top 10.

1981-1982:
7pm: "Happy Days"
7:30: "Laverne & Shirley"
8pm: "Three's Company"
8:30: "Too Close for Comfort"
9pm: "Hart to Hart"
Same exact schedule, but much more successful this season. HD, L&S, and HART were all Top 20 shows, while TC and TCFC were Top 10.

1982-1983:
7pm: "Happy Days"
7:30: "Laverne & Shirley"
8pm: "Three's Company"
8:30: "9 to 5"
9pm: "Hart to Hart"
HD and L&S fell out of the Top 20, but 9-5 and HART stuck around. TC was still a Top 10 show.

1983-1984:
7pm: "Just Our Luck"
7:30: "Happy Days"
8pm: "Three's Company"
8:30: "Oh, Madeline"
9pm: "Hart to Hart"
None of the shows made the Top 20. The 70s holdovers HD, TC, and HART all ended after this season, while the other two were short-lived and are pretty much forgotten. Madeline has somewhat of a following.

Just for kicks, here's the 1984-1985 lineup, with allllll new shows:
7pm: "Foul-Ups, Bleeps & Blunders"
7:30: "Three's a Crowd"
8pm: "Paper Dolls"
9pm: "Jessie"
And of course, all four were gone by the end of Spring 1985, killed by "The A-Team" and "Riptide."

It was years before I found out M&M didn't air on Tuesday Nights. I always thought the tuesday night lineup was

8pm-HD
8:30pm-L&S
9pm-TC
9:30pm-M&M

Thank you all for clarifying that for me. I guess my memory is lapsing. Still, it is a great line-up no matter what nights they originally aired. I always remember though HD and L&S airing back to back. That was the block to watch.

Oh but of course.

I love this station. I only noticed one edit on a Laverne & Shirley episode. They don't crunch the closing credits.
