Or whatever it's called. My awesome husband got it for me for Christmas and I must say, it's a nice set. For whatever reason, I thought the Best Of UM DVD was included in this set. I was a little surprised when I didn't see it but it was no big deal. I now know that it's sold separately and I've read that it's quite the disappointment. Anyone know if this is true?

I'm pretty sure the Best of set was not meant to be included in this set - given that a large number of segments on the best of set are on the other sets as well

this is very true. you probably don't even need the best of UM set. It would be great if they came out with a set of every epidsode ever recorded.

Actually, now that I think of it, there was one disc from the best of set that was entirely new and was supposed to be in with the ultimate collection: a disc of ghost/treasure segments.

The best of set only added 14 segments that weren't included in the regular sets. They should have thrown in Brad Bishop as it wasen't included in the Bizarre Murders. I remember when I first saw that segment, I couldn't believe that the man murdered his entire family.

their selections for what to put on the sets were bizarre to begin with.

I'll second that; overall I thought the box sets were put toghether well EXCEPT the Bizarre Murders. There were a few on there I thought should NOT have been included and there were quite a few more they had left out.

Does anyone have the St. James Hotel ghost one and the Nevada Haunted mansion? I've never seen them and the ghosts ones are my next favorite!

The St. James Hotel one is on the volumes. Not sure exactly which one you're referring to by the Nevada haunted mansion (I'm not up on all the ghost ones) but the one with Fish Springs, Nevada house is on the volumes too.

Yes there are some many better segments they could have chosen for the Bizarre Murders boxed set. I think all of would probably agree on that one.

This may or may not apply, but I thought I read somewhere that they only put the most "credible" stories on the sets.

Still an interesting legend though i guess.

The one about Katie who had foil growing out of her is on the Physics box set and she was a proven hoax wasn't she?
