The Big Move

This show is combination of a drama and a sitcom. Starring Hailey Duff as Tiffany Jameson, a 21-year-old Texas native who decides to kick off her career as an aspiring model/actress by moving to New York City. Tiffany's parents (Kurt Fuller, Wendie Malick) won't allow her to head all the way to New York and live there all alone. So, Tiffany is accompanied by her high school sweetheart boyfriend, Andrew Harris (Chace Crawford), her slightly-younger sister, Taylor Jameson (Hilary Duff), and Taylor's long-time best friend, Larissa Dalton (Ashley Tisdale) on her life-changing journey, as she bids farewell to Galveston on her way to make it big in the Big Apple. Tiffany, Andrew, Taylor, and Larissa all put their money together and rent a studio apartment. While trying to make her first step as she begins her modeling/acting career, Tiffany is befriended by a native girl from Queens, Jules Maretti (Minka Kelly), who also trying to make it big as a model/actress. Jules lives with her long-time single mom, Audrey Maretti (Gina Gershon) who happen to live nearby the gang. Audrey plays a surrogate maternal role with Tiffany, Taylor, Larissa, and Andrew. Also, Larissa and Taylor make a friend of their own, Kenny Carson (Elijah Kelly) who offers to show the duo the "dos" and "don'ts" of living in New York City, and how to be more like a "New Yorker" rather than a "tourist". Watch how the four friends from Galveston struggle to survive life as New Yorkers with help from their new friends.
